KOTA BHARU: A female trainee doctor was found dead at a dormitory of the Sultan Ismail Petra Hospital in Kuala Krai yesterday.
Kuala Krai police chief Mazlan Mamat said they received word about the death at about 9.55am before a police team was dispatched to investigate.
“Investigations at the location found that the victim was a female trainee doctor, aged 29. She was found dead in the bathroom of the dormitory.
“Preliminary investigations at the location found no criminal elements,” he said in a statement today, adding that the body was taken to the hospital’s forensics unit for an autopsy.
He said the case had been classified as a sudden death, urging those with information about the incident to contact the Kuala Krai police station at 09-9666222.
