PETALING JAYA: An elderly woman was found dead in a locked house at Taman Azizul Rahman, Kamunting, Taiping today.
Perak fire and rescue department acting assistant director Shazlean Hanafiah said they received a call for assistance from the police at 1.05pm to prise open the door of the house.
A 64-year-old female victim was found in the living room.
The woman was confirmed dead by health ministry staff. The body has been handed over to the police.
