PETALING JAYA: Enam lelaki termasuk lima warga Indonesia ditahan dalam serbuan sebuah lombong emas haram di Kampung Bolok, Temerloh, Sabtu lalu.

Komander Pasukan Gerakan Am (PGA) Briged Tenggara, Ahmad Radzi Hussain, berkata pelbagai peralatan dan jentera dianggarkan berjumlah RM1.14 juta turut dirampas Batalion 7 PGA bersama Unit Penguatkuasaan Negeri Pahang (UPNP) dalam Op Bersepadu Khazanah kira-kira 8 pagi itu.

Beliau berkata, seorang lelaki 35 tahun berasal dari Mentakab, Temerloh yang dipercayai pengusaha lombong haram itu ditahan bersama lima pekerja warga Indonesia berusia 25 dan 38 tahun.

“Antara alatan dirampas ialah jengkaut, lori, palong, pam air dan kuali mendulang,” katanya menurut Harian Metro.

Beliau berkata, semua suspek dibawa ke IPD Temerloh untuk siasatan mengikut Seksyen 158 Enakmen Mineral 2001 Pahang, yang membawa hukuman penjara hingga 10 tahun atau denda tidak lebih RM500,000 atau kedua-duanya, jika sabit kesalahan.

Katanya, lelaki tempatan itu turut disiasat mengikut Seksyen 55b Akta Imigresen 1959/63 kerana menggaji atau melindungi pendatang asing tanpa izin, manakala warga asing terbabit disiasat mengikut Seksyen 6(1)(c) Akta Imigresen 1959/63.
