A video clip from CCTV footage was widely shared, showing the man being chased and beaten.
SEREMBAN: A man in his 40s has died after being beaten and stabbed in a fight at an entertainment centre here early this morning.
Seremban police chief Azahar Abdul Rahman said the man was confirmed dead at the hospital.
“We believe the fight, at about 4.30am, involved 10 to 12 men, and one of them stabbed the victim,” he said.
A 90-second CCTV video recording from the premises has been widely shared on social media, showing the victim attempting to flee after being chased by a group of men before being beaten; chairs and boxes were also used.
Azahar said the police are currently reviewing closed-circuit television footage to identify the suspects and the cause of the incident.
