IPOH: Seorang lelaki Orang Asli yang dipatuk ular berbisa semasa mencari hasil hutan bersama rakan di Pos Kemar, Kampung Agek dekat Gerik, semalam berjaya dibawa keluar petang tadi.
Pemangku Penolong Pengarah Operasi Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia Perak, Shazlean Hanafiah, berkata Sali Seruliou, 48, mengalami kesukaran untuk bergerak akibat patukan.
Bomba menerima panggilan pada 4.05 petang semalam, dan 10 anggota dari Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Gerik bersama polis pergi ke lokasi kejadian sejauh 40km.
Pasukan penyelamat dengan bantuan tiga malim gunung dan orang awam mula bergerak pada 1.45 pagi dan sampai 11.30 pagi tadi, selepas kira-kira 10 jam perjalanan.
“Untuk sampai ke lokasi, pasukan penyelamat perlu mendaki bukit dan menempuh hutan belukar.
“Mangsa diberikan rawatan awal mengikut pesanan doktor dengan memberikan ubat penghilang kesakitan dan meminta mangsa untuk tidak bergerak terlalu banyak,” katanya.
Mangsa terpaksa dibawa keluar menggunakan helikopter memandangkan sukar bergerak.
Lima anggota bomba turut mengalami kecederaan ringan disebabkan jarak perjalanan yang jauh selain bentuk muka bumi yang mencabar untuk sampai ke lokasi mangsa ditemukan.
Kerja-kerja menyediakan kawasan untuk helikopter mendarat mengambil masa kira-kira tiga jam.
Shazlean berkata mangsa dan anggota yang lain kemudian dibawa ke Hospital Gerik melalui Lapangan Terbang Gerik untuk menerima rawatan lanjut.
Operasi tamat sepenuhnya 6 petang tadi.
