PETALING JAYA: Sabah Perikatan Nasional today announced that it will contest 40 of the 73 seats up for grabs in the Nov 29 state election.
Coalition chairman Muhyiddin Yasin announced the list of candidates in Kota Kinabalu, with state PN chief Ronald Kiandee to contest for the Sugut seat long held by Barisan Nasional.
Sugut falls under the Beluran parliamentary constituency, which Kiandee has represented in the Dewan Rakyat for six terms now.
PN will also field Sabah PAS chief Aliakbar Gulasan in Karambunai.
