Malaysia Masters 2025: Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun clinch historic men’s doubles title

IN a stunning upset at the 2025 Malaysia Masters, Malaysia’s Man Wei Chong and Tee Kai Wun defeated compatriots Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik to win the men’s doubles title.

The unseeded pair secured a 12–21, 21–15, 21–16 victory in 50 minutes at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur.

The world No. 7 pair has made history by becoming the first Malaysian men’s doubles pair to win the Malaysia Masters since Goh V Shem and Lim Khim Wah in 2013.

The pair previously reached the final of the 2023 Malaysia Masters, where they faced South Korea’s Kang Min-hyuk and Seo Seung-jae.
