Police after two men believed to be involved in RM1.24 mln burglary case

IPOH: Police are tracking down two men believed to be involved in a burglary case that resulted in approximately RM1.24 million in losses in Taman Mansion here on Dec 12.

Ipoh District Police Chief ACP Yahaya Hassan stated that in the incident, a 28-year-old business owner suffered property losses, including a collection of luxury watches of various brands such as Rolex GMT Master II, IWC Annual Calendar Big Pilot Gold, jewellery, mobile phones, and a laptop.

“The police take this case seriously and are conducting special operations to track down the suspects involved,“ he said in a statement today.

He stated that the case is being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code, and pictures of the two men are being circulated to aid in the identification of the suspects.

He urged the public with any information about the two suspects to contact the investigating officer ASP Norazlina Rais Ahmad at 013-6282176 or the Ipoh District Police Headquarters Control Centre, operational 24 hours, at 05-2542222 to assist in the investigation. – Bernama
