KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) said the small part of the ceiling at the Skybridge Departure Level 3, KLIA Terminal 2 fell due to bad weather.
No injuries were reported due to the collapse.
In an X post on Tuesday, Oct 24, MAHB said that rectification works are currently ongoing and the area has been temporarily closed off until repairs and a safety inspection are completed.
MAHB further warned the public to please avoid the cordoned-off area for their own safety, and stated if they require assistance, the public can approach their airport care ambassadors.
