PETALING JAYA: Police will meet the organisers of a rally against “illegal” houses of worship to get them to call off the protest, says the home ministry.
The ministry also urged members of the public against holding or participating in any such gathering during Indian prime minister Narendra Modi’s two-day visit to Malaysia.
“Through the police, the home ministry will continue carrying out its duties professionally and firmly to ensure public safety and national stability,” it said in a statement.
