WORKING as a package delivery guy can be very challenging. Besides braving the rain and sunshine of the unforgiving tropical climate, it is common to meet many weird, and more often than not, difficult customers.
But sometimes, it can be an encounter of the comedy kind too as seen in a video post by netizen yawscold on TikTok.
In the video, the delivery guy could be heard complaining when the customer failed to read his message on whatsapp. He arrived at the door, only to find a microphone at the gate.
Note, however, that the video did not reveal if the microphone belonged to the resident or a device he brought along.

And we all thought a bell would suffice to grab the attention of the owner of the house. What followed was him greeting the owner with his voice being amplified across the neighbourhood.
Netizens were tickled pink by this creative method employed by this very peculiar resident or delivery rider. This moment is certain to be immortalised in the history of parcel delivery.
Netizen Azzweenween who watched the video wondered aloud how the delivery guy in the video didn’t laugh. “Should have made an announcement saying, hello, JNT, whose cod RM15.90, please come out,” added Nampak ke aku.

Then there was netizen cik kelly, who said every delivery rider should have a microphone since the customers usually don’t come out of their house. Although we think it is a great idea, we are not sure if the neighbors will appreciate this sort of innovation.
