PETALING JAYA: The body of an unidentified man was found by a riverbank near a college in Bandar Sunway yesterday.
Subang Jaya police chief Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said initial investigations indicated that the victim is believed to have been dead for some time, based on the condition of the body.
In a statement, he said the man was clad only in a pair of trousers when found.
The victim’s identity and ethnicity have yet to be established. No identification documents were found at the scene.
He said the discovery of the body was reported to the Bandar Sunway police station at 7.10pm.
The body was sent to the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre for a post-mortem.
