SANDAKAN: Senarai calon PKR bagi PRN Sabah ke-17 dijangka diumumkan pada 9 atau 10 Nov ini.

Ketua PKR Sabah, Mustapha Sakmud, berkata pengumuman rasmi akan dibuat Presiden Anwar Ibrahim di Kota Kinabalu.

“(Perbincangan) kerusi dengan Barisan Nasional sudah dimuktamadkan, manakala dengan Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) tinggal satu kerusi lagi, tapi saya fikir akan dapat diselesaikan dalam masa terdekat,” katanya kepada pemberita selepas Jelajah Harapan Urang Sabah Majlis Pimpinan PKR Sabah, malam ini.

Mengenai tumpuan di Parlimen Sandakan, Mustapha berkata PKR Sabah akan meletakkan calon bagi dua kerusi DUN iaitu Gum Gum dan Karamunting.

“Calon satu mewakili Bumiputera Islam Sabah dan satu lagi mewakili kaum Tionghua. Hari ini kita hadir (jelajah) untuk memberi penjelasan kepada semua perkara yang sedang dilaksanakan kerajaan Madani untuk Sabah.

“Kadang-kadang kita dipesongkan oleh prasangka-prasangka dan menerusi Jelajah Urang Sabah ini kita mewakili kerajaan Madani, parti, Pakatan Harapan dan beri penerangan kepada akar umbi tentang sumbangan kerajaan,” katanya.

Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya menetapkan 29 Nov sebagai hari pengundian bagi PRN Sabah ke-17, manakala tarikh penamaan calon pada 15 Nov dan pengundian awal 25 Nov.
