MELAKA: Dua pegawai tentera berpangkat Kapten mengaku tidak bersalah di Mahkamah Majistret Ayer Keroh di sini hari ini, atas pertuduhan mencederakan seorang pegawai Leftenan Muda di Kem Terendak, Sungai Udang di sini, Februari lepas.
Mohamad Solehudin Darus, 30 dan Ahmad Hazlan Haris Azman, 28 didakwa secara sengaja menyebabkan kecederaan kepada mangsa berusia 26 tahun di bahagian muka, belakang badan serta paha di hadapan mes pegawai Rejimen Pertama Artileri Diraja Para, Kem Terendak pada 22 Feb antara 2.30 pagi hingga 6 pagi.
Pertuduhan dibuat mengikut Seksyen 323 Kanun Keseksaan dibaca dengan Seksyen 34 kanun sama yang memperuntukkan hukuman penjara sehingga setahun atau denda maksimum RM2,000 atau kedua-duanya, jika sabit kesalahan
Timbalan Pendakwa Raya Wan Abdullah Mohd Rodzlad mencadangkan jaminan RM10,000 setiap seorang dengan syarat tambahan tidak mengganggu mangsa dan saksi pendakwaan sehingga kes selesai.
Peguam P Shamala yang mewakili dua pegawai itu merayu jaminan dikurangkan kepada antara RM1,000 hingga RM2,000 kerana mereka menanggung keluarga dan telah lama berkhidmat dalam tentera tanpa rekod buruk.
Majistret Sharda Shienha Mohd Suleiman membenarkan jaminan RM3,000 dengan seorang penjamin setiap tertuduh berserta syarat dimohon pihak pendakwaan dan menetapkan sebutan semula kes pada 18 Dis untuk serahan dokumen.
