Menteri Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan Nga Kor Ming berkata ia adalah petunjuk jelas bahawa dasar fiskal serta inisiatif Kerajaan MADANI yang bersifat rakyat-centred dan menyeluruh, mula membuahkan hasil positif.
“Di sebalik tekanan global yang semakin mencabar, permintaan domestik yang stabil dan keyakinan pengguna dan pelabur, mencerminkan keberkesanan pendekatan kerajaan,“ katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
Jabatan Perangkaan Malaysia baru-baru ini memaklumkan ekonomi negara diunjurkan berkembang sebanyak 4.5 peratus pada suku kedua 2025 berdasarkan anggaran awal, mengatasi peningkatan sebanyak 4.4 peratus pada suku tahun sebelumnya.
Nga berkata sektor pembinaan dilaporkan terus menunjukkan momentum kukuh dengan jangkaan kadar pertumbuhan 11 peratus, diterajui oleh projek bangunan bukan kediaman dan perumahan.
Sementara itu katanya sektor perkhidmatan dijangka berkembang sebanyak 5.3 peratus, meningkat daripada lima peratus pada suku sebelumnya manakala sektor pembuatan pula mencatat pertumbuhan 3.8 peratus.
Nga berkata jangkaan pertumbuhan keseluruhan itu didorong oleh permintaan domestik yang diperkukuh melalui pelbagai inisiatif Kerajaan MADANI, termasuk pelaksanaan Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA), Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) serta peningkatan gaji minimum, yang telah membantu meningkatkan pendapatan serta kuasa beli rakyat.
“Bagaimanapun Kerajaan MADANI terus berwaspada dengan risiko luaran seperti ketegangan perdagangan global dan perang tarif yang masih berterusan.
“Kerajaan MADANI sentiasa kekal komited dalam memastikan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang inklusif serta kesejahteraan seluruh lapisan rakyat sentiasa terjamin,” katanya.
Nga turut menyambut baik keputusan Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) untuk menurunkan Kadar Dasar Semalaman (OPR) ke paras 2.75 peratus sebagai langkah proaktif bagi menyokong aktiviti ekonomi negara khususnya dalam bidang hartanah.
