KUALA TERENGGANU: Tiga maut dalam tiga kemalangan berasingan membabitkan peserta program We Are RXZ Members 6.0 2024, kata Ketua Polis Terengganu Datuk Mohd Khairi Khairuddin.

Beliau berkata dua daripada kes kematian itu dicatatkan di Lebuhraya Pantai Timur 2 (LPT2) manakala satu kematian melibatkan kemalangan di Jalan Kuala Terengganu-Kuantan, dekat Kampung Kelulut di daerah Marang.

“Mangsa kemalangan pertama iaitu Abdul Salim Mohamed Hashim, 58, berasal dari Batu Gajah, Perak manakala mangsa kedua, Mohamad Firdaus Abdul Rashid, 29, dari Jempol, Negeri Sembilan.

“Kemalangan ketiga pula membabitkan mangsa Ahmad Amir Muhamad, 29, yang berasal dari Temerloh, Pahang dan bekerja sebagai buruh ladang,“ katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.

Dalam pada itu, Mohd Khairi berkata polis telah mengeluarkan sebanyak 89 saman atas pelbagai kesalahan sepanjang dua hari operasi di sekitar Kuala Terengganu dan Kuala Nerus.

Beliau berkata kesalahan paling tinggi direkodkan ialah ubah suai ekzos, tiada cermin sisi dan aksesori tidak sempurna.

Himpunan RXZ Members 6.0 yang berlangsung selama dua hari bermula 13 Sept lepas menarik kira-kira 40,000 peserta dari seluruh negara.
