PETALING JAYA: Around 13,000 homes in Sibu, Sarawak, will face scheduled water cuts from 10pm this Wednesday, with users advised to store water ahead of that.
The Sibu Water Board said this is to allow for repair works on a pipe connection which are expected to take about 12 hours, The Borneo Post reported.
However, in the event of bad weather, the repair works will be conducted the next day, it said. Water supply will be restored in stages.
The affected areas include Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce, Oya 16, Undan, Cendana, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, Mile 13, Jalan Ulu Oya till Jalan Sibintek, and Sibujaya.
