LZS peruntuk RM33.4 juta bantuan persekolahan pelajar asnaf, miskin dan mualaf tahun ini

BANGI: Sebanyak RM33.4 juta diperuntukkan bagi membiayai yuran dan bantuan kelengkapan peralatan persekolahan tahun ini, kepada 34,116 ketua keluarga asnaf fakir dan miskin serta mualaf.

Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS) Mohd Sabirin Mohd Sarbini (gambar) berkata bantuan berkenaan memanfaatkan seramai 70,283 orang pelajar prasekolah, sekolah kebangsaan, Sekolah Rendah Agama, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan dan Sekolah Menengah Agama.

Beliau berkata kadar minimum bagi bantuan yuran persekolahan yang akan diterima setiap pelajar ialah RM100 bagi tadika atau prasekolah, Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan atau Sekolah Rendah Agama (RM150) dan Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan atau Sekolah Menengah Agama (RM250).

“Kadar maksima yang akan diterima ialah sebanyak RM1,200 bagi keluarga, serta token keperluan dengan kadar maksima sebanyak RM800 bagi keluarga, berdasarkan tahap sekolah tanggungan isi keluarga.

“Bantuan ini akan diterima terus oleh ketua keluarga melalui akaun, V-cash (baucer tunai) atau tunai bermula hari ini,” katanya dalam ucapan pada Program Simbolik Bantuan Pendidikan 2024 LZS di sini hari ini.

Mohd Sabirin berkata bagi meringankan beban, LZS turut memberi bantuan kelengkapan peralatan persekolahan meliputi pakaian seragam, beg, alat tulis kepada setiap pelajar.

Beliau berkata bantuan pelajar Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan mendapat kadar bantuan sebanyak RM170 seorang, Sekolah Rendah Agama (RM150 seorang) dan Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan atau Sekolah Menengah Agama (RM200 seorang).

“Penebusan bagi bantuan kelengkapan peralatan persekolahan ini, boleh dibuat bermula pada 10 Feb sehingga 10 Mei ini,” katanya dan menambah penebusan boleh dibuat di pasar raya atau kedai yang ditetapkan LZS.

Mohd Sabirin berkata sepanjang 30 tahun penubuhan LZS, pelbagai jenis bantuan telah disalurkan kepada mereka yang memerlukan dan bantuan pendidikan merupakan antara keutamaan bagi memastikan pembangunan pendidikan diperkasa, seterusnya memacu kecemerlangan ummah dan golongan asnaf di Selangor.

Beliau berkata bantuan yang telah lama diwujudkan itu, bagi menampung kos yang terpaksa ditanggung oleh ketua keluarga asnaf fakir, miskin dan mualaf, menjelang sesi persekolahan yang akan dibuka pada Mac ini.

“Diharapkan dengan bantuan yang diterima ini, akan dapat meringankan beban serta menceriakan anak-anak untuk terus semangat ke sekolah. Tiada lagi alasan untuk tidak bersekolah. Teruskan berusaha, kekalkan momentum dalam menuntut ilmu dan tanamkan niat untuk berjaya demi masa hadapan,” katanya.
