IPOH: Jabatan Perangkaan Malaysia (DOSM) Perak akan membuka kaunter fizikal Sistem Pangkalan Data Utama (PADU) di Pusat Ekonomi Digital (PEDi) Kampung Tersusun Batu 8, Ulu Kinta dekat sini selama dua hari bermula hari ini.
DOSM Perak menerusi laman Facebook memaklumkan kaunter berkenaan akan dibuka pukul 9 pagi hingga 6 petang untuk memudahkan penduduk di kawasan itu membuat pendaftaran dan mengemas kini maklumat dalam sistem itu.
Pengunjung diingatkan membawa beberapa dokumen dan maklumat semasa proses mendaftar dan mengemas kini di kaunter fizikal itu antaranya maklumat bank, pendapatan dan komitmen selain kad pengenalan dan telefon bimbit.
Terdahulu, Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Komunikasi, Multimedia dan Pertubuhan Bukan Kerajaan (NGO) Perak Mohd Azlan Helmi Helmi berkata 70 PEDi dan 13 Pejabat Penerangan Daerah di Perak akan digunakan khusus untuk membantu masyarakat mendaftarkan diri dalam sistem PADU.
Menurutnya, kerajaan negeri optimis 1.8 juta penduduk berusia 18 tahun ke atas di negeri ini akan mendaftar dalam sistem PADU menjelang hujung Mac nanti.
Setakat 7 Jan, DOSM Perak merekodkan 71,409 penduduk telah mendaftar dalam sistem berkenaan sejak dilancarkan 2 Jan lepas oleh Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
PADU dibangunkan menerusi kepakaran dalaman Kementerian Ekonomi, DOSM serta Unit Pemodenan Tadbiran dan Perancangan Pengurusan Malaysia (MAMPU), selain dibantu pelbagai pihak di peringkat negeri.
Menerusi sistem itu, semua rakyat Malaysia berumur 18 tahun ke atas perlu mendaftar dan membuat semakan data melalui portal PADU serta mengemas kini dan mengesahkan 39 maklumat diri yang diperlukan. – Bernama
