Warga asing dikenakan caj RM1 guna bas GOKL mulai 1 Jan

KUALA LUMPUR: Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) akan mengenakan caj RM1 bagi setiap perjalanan kepada bukan warganegara Malaysia yang menggunakan perkhidmatan bas GOKL mulai 1 Jan depan.

DBKL, dalam kenyataan hari ini, memaklumkan caj itu akan dilaksanakan secara berperingkat melibatkan empat laluan di sekitar pusat bandar iaitu Laluan 01 (Hijau), Laluan 02 (Ungu), Laluan 03 (Merah) dan Laluan 04 (Biru).

“Transaksi pembayaran adalah tanpa tunai iaitu melalui kad Touch ‘n Go, kod QR, kad kredit atau kad debit. Bagaimanapun, ia percuma bagi semua kanak-kanak yang berumur 12 tahun ke bawah termasuk bukan warganegara,“ menurut kenyataan itu.

Sementara itu, warganegara Malaysia yang menggunakan Mykad dan mempunyai sistem Touch ‘n Go, perlu membuat pendaftaran MyKad tersebut bagi menikmati perkhidmatan percuma.

Susulan itu, DBKL menyediakan kaunter pendaftaran di tiga lokasi iaitu Hentian Bas KLCC, Hentian Akhir Titiwangsa (Pekeliling) dan Hentian Akhir Pasar Seni dari jam 7 pagi hingga 12 tengah hari dan 2 petang hingga jam 7 malam mulai 1 Dis lepas.

Selain itu, petugas DBKL juga ditempatkan di dalam Bas GOKL terpilih bagi tujuan tersebut manakala kaunter pendaftaran secara berkala di Lobi Menara DBKL 1 turut dibuka pada setiap Rabu dari jam 9 pagi hingga 4 petang mulai 6 Dis lepas.
