IPOH: Keadaan banjir di Perak semakin pulih apabila jumlah mangsa berkurangan kepada 81 orang setakat pukul 10 pagi ini berbanding 263 orang pagi semalam dan satu Pusat Pemindahan Sementara (PPS) di Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Behrang di daerah Muallim ditutup pada pukul 8.30 pagi tadi.
Jawatankuasa Pengurusan Bencana Negeri (JPBN) Perak memaklumkan kini hanya dua PPS yang masih beroperasi di daerah Hilir Perak dan Kerian.
“PPS yang masih beroperasi ialah PPS Dewan Serbaguna Padang Tembak yang menempatkan 40 mangsa daripada 12 keluarga.
“Manakala 41 mangsa daripada sembilan keluarga masih ditempatkan di PPS SK Changkat Lobak di Kerian yang dibuka pada 24 Oktober lalu,“ menurut kenyataan itu.
Sementara itu Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran (JPS) melaporkan paras air Sungai Ijok di Larut Matang dan Selama (LMS) masih melepasi tahap bahaya apabila merekodkan ketinggian 12.15 meter berbanding paras normal iaitu 10 meter, manakala Sungai Bidor di Changkat Jong masih mencatat paras bahaya 3.93 meter berbanding 2 meter paras normal.
JPS turut melaporkan paras air Sungai Slim di Slim River juag naik menghampiri aras amaran apabila merekodkan bacaan 25.21 meter daripada paras normal 23.50 meter manakala manakala Sungai Kinta di Weir Tanjung Tualang turut berada pada paras amaran iaitu 14.05 meter.
Jabatan Meteorologi Malaysia (MetMalaysia) pula meramalkan ribut dan hujan lebat dijangka berlaku pada sebelah petang dan malam di semua daerah.
Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Perak turut memaklumkan Jalan Kubu Gajah Ijok-Sumpitan di Selama masih ditutup kepada semua kenderaan akibat tanah runtuh dan orang ramai boleh menggunakan laluan alternatif di Jalan Pintasan Kampung Sumpitan-Kampung Masjid.
Selain itu, F 193 Jalan Proton City di daerah Mualim juga terhalang laluan di kedua-dua arah dan ditutup kepada kenderaan akibat tanah runtuh, manakala di Kerian laluan FT 147 Jalan Selama hanya dibuka kepada kenderaan berat dan orang ramai diarahkan menggunakan jalan alternatif di A111 Jalan Pintasan Alor Pongsu-Bukit Merah. – Bernama.
