KUALA LUMPUR: Bekas Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak (gambar) menandatangani lima keping cek bernilai RM22.6 juta yang merupakan dana haram yang didakwa diperoleh daripada aktiviti yang menyalahi undang-undang oleh 1MDB Global Investment Limited (1MDB GIL), anak syarikat 1Malaysian Development Berhad (1MDB), Mahkamah Tinggi diberitahu hari ini.
Penolong Pengarah Bahagian Siasatan Siasatan Jenayah Pengubahan Wang Haram (AMLA) ACP Foo Wei Min, 47, berkata analisis “First In, First Out” (FIFO) ke atas akaun peribadi bekas perdana menteri itu mendapati lima transaksi berkenaan melibatkan penggunaan wang haram 1MDB GIL.
Beliau berkata kaedah siasatan FIFO digunakan bagi menentukan wang yang masuk ke dalam akaun Najib adalah wang haram atau bersih.
Saksi pendakwaan ke-48 itu berkata demikian ketika membacakan pernyataan saksinya pada pemeriksaan utama oleh Timbalan Pendakwa Raya Kamal Baharin Omar dalam perbicaraan kes rasuah dan pengubahan wang haram dana RM2.3 bilion milik 1MDB yang dihadapi Najib.
Foo berkata Najib mengeluarkan cek bernilai RM20 juta kepada Umno manakala Umno Bahagian Batu Kawan dibayar cek bernilai RM100,000 masing-masing pada 2 dan 7 Ogos 2013.
“Selain itu, Najib turut mengeluarkan cek bernilai RM246,000 kepada Lim Soong Peng pada 7 Ogos 2013, manakala cek bernilai RM2 juta dikeluarkan kepada ORB Solutions Sdn Bhd dan cek bernilai RM303,000 dibayar kepada Semarak Konsortium Satu Sdn Bhd masing-masing pada 12 dan 14 Ogos tahun sama.
“Bendahari Umno Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Mohamad Hanadzlah telah mengesahkan menerima cek RM20 juta daripada Najib sendiri. Begitu juga Datuk Mohd Noor Ahmad, Ketua UMNO Bahagian Batu Kawan, Pulau Pinang mengesahkan telah menerima RM100,000 untuk tujuan politik di kawasannya,” kata saksi itu dan menambah kata bahawa pegawai CIMB turut mengesahkan Lim menerima RM246,000 daripada Najib.
Mengenai syarikat ORB Solutions, Foo berkata pengarah syarikat itu, Datuk Amhari Efendi Nazaruddin menerima cek RM2 juta kerana menawarkan perkhidmatan publisiti Najib di media sosial seperti Facebook, Instagram, Twitter dan blog persendirian Najib.
“Wang daripada 1MDB GIL telah disalurkan kepada ORB Solutions sebagai pembayaran untuk pembinaan media sosial perkhidmatan dalam talian dan juga bayaran penyelenggaraannya. Hasil daripada analisis FIFO, saya telah mengenal pasti RM2 juta adalah dana haram 1MDB GIL,” katanya.
Beliau berkata pemilik Semarak Konsortium Datuk Mohd Omar Mustapha menerima RM22 juta bagi menyediakan perkhidmatan pasukan media antarabangsa dan penulis ucapan bahasa Inggeris kepada Najib.
“Antara penulis antarabangsa yang terlibat seperti Paul Stadlen, Charlotte Carr, Alexander Marklew, Benedict Macon Cooney dan lain-lain lagi,” katanya.
Najib, 70, berdepan empat pertuduhan iaitu menggunakan kedudukan beliau untuk memperoleh suapan berjumlah RM2.3 bilion dana 1MDB dan 21 pertuduhan pengubahan wang haram membabitkan jumlah yang sama.
