KUALA LUMPUR: Dua kawasan di seluruh negara mencatat bacaan Indeks Pencemaran Udara (IPU) tidak sihat setakat 9 pagi ini, berbanding tujuh kawasan pada 5 petang semalam.

Berdasarkan data dalam laman sesawang Sistem Pengurusan Indeks Pencemaran Udara Malaysia (APIMS), Jabatan Alam Sekitar (JAS), bacaan IPU tertinggi dicatat di Nilai, Negeri Sembilan iaitu 151 diikuti Bukit Rambai, Melaka dengan 112.

Tujuh kawasan yang merekodkan kadar IPU tertinggi pada 5 petang semalam adalah Bukit Rambai (154), Bandaraya Melaka (151); Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan (134); Tangkak, Johor (113); Alor Gajah, Melaka; dan Cheras masing-masing 105 manakala Batu Pahat, Johor (103).

IPU berskala antara 0-50 dikategorikan sebagai sihat, 51-100 (sederhana), 101-200 (tidak sihat), 201-300 (sangat tidak sihat) dan 300 ke atas (berbahaya).
