PAPAR: Fasa 1 Projek Lebuhraya Pan Borneo (LPB) Sabah yang melibatkan 15 pakej kerja, kini pada tahap 82 peratus pembinaan dan dijadual siap sepenuhnya pada Januari 2025, kata Menteri Kerja Raya Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi.

Beliau berkata tiga daripada pakej berkenaan kini telah siap dan boleh digunakan.

“Bagi 19 pakej Fasa 1B…pakej masih belum bermula dan dijangka akan ditender pada suku keempat 2023 setelah Makmal Pengurusan Nilai dimuktamadkan,“ katanya kepada pemberita selepas melakukan lawatan kerja di tapak projek Menaik Taraf Jalan Donggongon ke Papar Spurs Fasa 2 dan 3 dan Pakej Kerja 04 (Bongawan ke Papar) LPB Sabah di sini hari ini.

Turut hadir Timbalan Menterinya Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Mohamad dan Timbalan Ketua Menteri Sabah III Datuk Shahelmey Yahya, yang juga Menteri Kerja Raya Sabah.

Projek LPB Sabah melibatkan 35 pakej kerja sepanjang 706 kilometer yang bermula dari sempadan Sabah dan Sarawak di Sindumin hingga ke Tawau, telah dimulakan pada Julai 2016.

Mengulas lanjut, Alexander berkata kerajaan Persekutuan telah menyalurkan peruntukan pembangunan kepada Sabah sebanyak RM6.503 bilion.

“Peruntukan berkenaan untuk membina jambatan cerun dan sebagainya. Sebanyak RM2.23 bilion daripada peruntukan ini adalah untuk LPB Sabah dan kerajaan Persekutuan juga telah bersetuju menambah peruntukan untuk menyelesaikan isu jalan raya di Sabah,“ katanya.

Sementara itu, beliau berkata antara lain tujuan lawatan kerja ke Sabah adalah untuk berbincang dengan pihak Kementerian Kerja Raya di Sabah mengenai program Kembara Borneo oleh Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah ke LPB di Sabah dan Sarawak bulan depan.

“Oleh itu, saya mahu Kementerian Kerja Raya khususnya Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Sabah membuat tinjauan di semua jalan yang bakal dilalui Kembara Borneo berkenaan agar program berjalan lancar,“ tambahnya.

Sementara itu, mengulas mengenai kempen MYJalan, Alexander berkata ia akan diperluaskan ke Sabah dan Sarawak.

Menurutnya kempen tersebut bakal dilancarkan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim di Jeti Tasik Awam, Tasik Banding, Perak pada 24 Ogos ini.

“Kempen MYJalan akan membuka ruang dan peluang kepada pengguna membuat aduan secara khusus berkaitan jalan raya, selain memberi pendedahan serta kefahaman kepada rakyat mengenai jenis jalan dan tanggungjawab pihak berkaitan,“ tambahnya. – Bernama
