KUALA LUMPUR (May 2): CIMB Group Holdings Bhd has appointed Datin Azlina Mahmad as its independent and non-executive director with effect from Monday (May 1).
Azlina, 56, was an executive director of global corporate bank JP Morgan Chase Bank Bhd from 2010 to 2021, CIMB said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
Prior to that, she was chief officer and executive director and vice-president of global credit risk management at JP Morgan Chase.
At the time of writing on Tuesday (May 2), CIMB’s share price was trading down one sen or 0.2% to RM5.05, giving the bank a market capitalisation of RM53.86 billion.
